Frontier Telephone Organizing Victory

Hugh Wolfe, D3 Org. Coord., reports the following victory:

CWA District 3 is pleased to announce that in an NLRB representation election held today for 34 workers at Frontier Telephone in Statesboro, Georgia, the workers overwhelmingly voted to become union. The vote count was 29 for, 4 against, and 1 ballot challenged by the company.

John McInnis, president of Local 3220 and his organizing committee led this effort.
